What a year, WISE Arizona.
We didn’t just participate in the industry we reshaped the landscape of what a chapter can do.
We grew to over 300 active members: the largest in Arizona’s history.
We expanded our board to its biggest size ever, with full committees for the first time, driving new ideas, deeper engagement, and faster execution across everything we touched.
This year, we offered more programming and member experiences than ever before the most events in our chapter’s history giving our members multiple ways to learn, lead, connect, and grow. From sold-out signature moments to intimate development sessions, women had options. They showed up and they showed out.
We built partnerships that matter, powering collaboration across the Valley with leaders in sports, DEI, construction, Latino excellence, and business. And for the first time ever, WISE Arizona’s full Board was featured in the KNOW Women publication, amplifying our presence and showing the community who is driving change in this industry. We spoke on major stages not as guests, but as leaders, sharing our expertise, our vision, and our voice. We didn’t ask for a seat at the table, we brought our own chairs.
The impact is real:
Members earned promotions.
Women stepped into leadership roles.
Connections turned into opportunities.
Mentorship stretched across departments, teams, and generations. The pipeline of future leaders got stronger because we opened doors and held them open. This chapter is proving something important:
Women don’t just belong in this industry, we move this industry forward.
Not someday. Not eventually, but NOW!
I am unbelievably proud of this board, our committees, and every member who showed up with ideas, time, and courage. We built momentum this year and momentum is everything. If this is what we can do in one year… imagine what happens next. We’re not slowing down, we’re scaling up.
To the women who changed the game this year, thank you. To the women ready to rise in 2026, we see you.
Next year is ours. Let’s lead it together.
With fire and gratitude,
Maria Mwangi
President, WISE Arizona
