Sports Tourism & Economic Development with Nancy Cole | 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
The first of our Tucson Takeover morning sessions is one-on-one with Nancy Cole, the Director of Development for Pima County. She will discuss the upcoming development of the Kino Sports Complex, how it impacts the local economy and sports landscape, and her involvement in the process.

When big-time college football comes to Arizona in the form of a bowl game, so do the sponsors! In the second session of our Tucson Takeover, we chat with Kym Adair, the Executive Director of the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl, about the role of sponsorship in big game action.
From Competitor to Leader: A Panel Discussion | 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
In our final program of the day, we present this informative discussion with a group of accomplished panelists, who reveal how their lives evolved from athlete to sports executive. Listen in as each of these women tell us how they translated success on the playing field into successful careers off the field. In following paths as varied as their respective sports, we will see how those experiences brought them to similar successes in their lives. Panelists are Joan Bonvanici, Kathleen "Rocky" LaRose, and Amanda Vandervort.
All sessions are moderated by Caitlyn Schmidt, of the Arizona Daily Star.

Tucson FC Watch Party
Up for a little "footie," anyone? What if we told you your WISE Arizona friends would be there? Rounding out the Tucson Takeover festivities, you will find us in the stands at Kino North Stadium, cheering on FC Tucson versus Fort Lauderdale.
Tucson FC has a special night planned, highlighting our First Responders, with special presentations commemorating the 20th Anniversary of 9-11, and a spotlight on local community heroes.
Game time is 7 PM.
